The cable end closure for a multi-wire cable has two clamping blocks of insulating material which are profiled so that a flat cable may be secured between two side walls, with each separately insulated wire in contact with the walls. The first block (1) fits in a guide (3) in the second block (2). A castelled formed interior groove (9) mates with a similar formation (5) on the underside of the other member, one face having 45 deg. chamfered profile. both blocks are made of insulating plastics, and there is provided an exterior fitting to attach the clamping block to a housing or a cover plate.
