<p>The protective standby channel circuit, for transmission systems with separate CF voice and tv channels, has a faulty voice channel (1, 2 etc.) connected before the transmit-side modulation stages over a distribution switch (VS1), modulator (M), switch (S) and distribution switch (VS3) to the protective standby channel (SK), and also on the receive-side via a distribution amplifier (VV) to the demodulator (D) of the standby channel. The demodulated signal then passes over a distribution switch (VS2) and channel switch to the appropriate CF channel. A faulty tv channel (7, 8 etc.) is connected via channel switches and distribution switch directly to the standby channel transmitter, and similarly at the receive end to the receiver.</p> |
