<p>The decorative object is for use in jewellry and consists of a reservoir for perfume. The reservoir is a porous stone (1) which can be cut or milled, such as limestone. The stone has a large number of holes (2) which can receive liquid. It can be cut in the usual way to form a medallion, and set in a mounting (3). The perfume can be sprayed on to the stone so that it penetrates into the holes and is conserved.</p> |
