<p>PURPOSE:To simplify manufacture of curtain wall in the factory and also simplify the site work, by prefabricating a heat collecting unit by fitting a heat collecting member on the inside of opposite longitudinal frames of framework in freely detachable manner and fitting a light transmitting plate on the outside of said heat collecting member, and then assembling the framework to a building. CONSTITUTION:In factory assebling, connecting longitudinal frame 8 formed integrally with heat collecting member 7 and back plate 9 is at first fitted between opposite longitudinal frames 2, 2 of prefabricated framework 1. Then, projection 8a at one end of the connecting longitudinal frame 8 is fitted into mating groove 2b and the other end portion 8b is fixed to the web of longitudinal frame 2. On the outdoor side of heat collecting pipe 5, a light transmitting plate 11 is then attached in plate in the manner extending through the inside of groove 10 fromed between flange portions of longitudinal frame 2 and connecting longitudinal frame 8 and on the outside of projections 3a, 4a respectively of horizontal frame 3 and horizontal muntin 4. Thereafter, the plate 11 is fixed firmly to framework 1 by fixing beads 12, 13 respectively to horizontal frame 3 and muntin 4. Here, seal is ensured by use of tightening members 14, 14' and caulking members 15, 15'.</p> |
