Extracting nicotine from tobacco - includes boiling in water, washing, then adding colouring and flavouring agents in dryer

Tobacco for cigars, cigarettes and pipes is subjected to a treatment for abstracting the nicotine. The raw tobacco is placed into an extraction vessel for boiling with water, and afterwards washed with water to remove the nicotine. The prod. is then treated with colouring and flavouring agents in a drying unit to restore the colour and flavours which have been removed.
