The projectile includes two parts (1,2) separated by a space (3). Each part includes an explosive charge (4,5) covered by an envelope of fragments (6,7). Each part includes a detonator (8,9) and a base at its end opposed to the intermediate space. The two parts are constructed identically except for the size of the fragments in the two envelopes. The intermediate space is intended to deaden the shock wave produced by the first explosion to prevent this detonating the second explosive. The first explosion is intended to penetrate the outer structure of the target, while the second occurring slightly later penetrates deeper. USE - Anti-aircraft combat explosive.
