This material is in the form of a fabric of the type comprising adjacent wefts supported by a slack warp, the said wefts consisting of inorganic yarns (for example silicon carbide) impregnated beforehand with a substance identical with that in which the material is to be incorporated and the warp threads being also based on a material identical with the substance to be reinforced.
