Ventral medical cushion for effecting a lumbar massage, the patient lying face down. The invention relates to a cushion which is characterised by the combination of two differentiated supports, one on the iliac crests of the pelvis of the patient (11), the other on the abdomen of the patient (13). The ilio-abdominal cushion according to the invention is intended for placing the patient directly in an antalgic position for the purpose of administering a therapeutic massage in kinesitherapy. <IMAGE>
