<p>A ferrous salt composition comprising a ferrous salt, an amino acid and a reducing substance. As is well known, ferrous salts exhibit special effects in various uses, such as soil conditioning in an agricultural field, retention of the freshness of fish and shell in a fishing field, treatment of diseases in a medical field, and rustproofing of metal and clarification of effluent and exhaust gas in an industrial field. It has heretofore been difficult, however, to retain such effects for a long period of time. According to this invention, ferrous salts are chemically stabilized by adding thereto an amino acid and a reducing substance, whereby the effects of the salts can be retained and the salts can be utilized industrially.</p> |
