PURPOSE:To provide a stepping motor driver which can prevent a stepping motor from producing abnormal noise when the motor is started. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor driver is provided with a micro-pulse generating means 13 so that the start operation of a stepping motor 1 can be controlled by micro-pulses generated from the means 13 when the motor 1 is started. Therefore, the production of abnormal noise and impact noise can be suppressed, because the motor 1 can be rotated slowly until the motor 1 reaches a holding state from stop. |
