New genomic and cDNA sequences encoding human mu-opioid receptor

摘要

Genomic sequences (I) of the human mu -opioid receptor gene (II), and its variants, polymorphisms and mutants are new. Also new are: (1) promoter region (Ia) of (I); (2) cDNA (Ib) derived from (I); (3) intron2, intron1 3' and 5' regions and intron3 3' and 5' regions of (I), and (4) a method for detecting predisposition to disease, particularly addictive disease, by isolating DNA from a sample, genotyping selected positions and comparing with a reference DNA.
