PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tablet for oral administration capable of readily reducing the swelling hardness and easily swallowable even by the aged, etc. due to the existence of water or saliva therebetween by including a water-soluble azulene, L-glutamine, a disintegrating agent, a metal carbonate and an organic acid. SOLUTION: This tablet for oral administration is obtained by including (A) a water-soluble azulene, (B) L-glutamine, (C) a disintegrating agent (e.g. crospovidone), (D) a metal carbonate (e.g. sodium carbonate) and (E) an organic acid (citric acid, malic acid, etc.). The formulating ratio of the respective ingredients of the tablet is preferably 0.05-0.5 wt.% of the ingredient A, 40-97 wt.% of the ingredient B, 1-35 wt.% of the ingredient C, 0.33-26.6 wt.% of the ingredient D and 0.33-26.6 wt.% of the ingredient E when the crospovidone is used as the ingredient C. The ingredients D and E are preferably formulated so as to provide (1:0.5) to (1:2) formulating ratio expressed in terms of the ingredient E as 1 and the ratio of the formulation of the ingredients D and E is preferably regulated to 1-40 wt.% as the whole preparation.
