PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a service work such as a repair and maintenance work to be easily carried out in a housing of each of an outdoor device and an air conditioner. SOLUTION: There is provided an outdoor device 20 which is comprised of an outdoor heat exchanger for performing a heat exchanging operation between outdoor air and refrigerant; a compressor for feeding-out gaseous refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure to the outdoor heat exchanger or an indoor heat exchanger for performing a heat exchanging operation between indoor air and the refrigerant; an outdoor control section 20i for controlling an operation of each of the outdoor heat exchanger and the compressor; and a housing section 20a for storing the outdoor heat exchanger, the compressor and the outdoor control section. The housing section is provided with a service panel 40 at its side part which can be removed. The service panel is integrally molded with a control box 40a for storing the outdoor control section.
