PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly lint-free wiper which can wipe off dust well and which is bulky and feels fine without deteriorating such characters of cellulose nonwoven fabrics as water absorbing ability, or the like. SOLUTION: This wiper is a flat sheet consisting of at least two sheets of flat layered cellulose fiber nonwoven fabrics. The flat sheet of the layered nonwoven fabrics has a pressed rim 3 where cellulose fibers constituting the nonwoven fabrics are integrally pressed and fixed with each interface remaining. The apparent density of the pressed rim 3 is from 0.5 g/cm3 to 1.2 g/cm3, and the water absorption is 300% or higher. The width of the pressed rim 3 is at lest 3 times the thickness of the sheet, and the area of the pressed rim 3 is 50% or lower of the projected area of the flat sheet. The Metsuke (weight per m2) of the flat layered nonwoven sheet is from 20 g/m2 to 400 g/m2.
