PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a clear differentiation of a skin condition of an application possible range by making each fractal dimension of the deviation of a skin differentiation in which a property value of the skin is determined for an index as an index. SOLUTION: When observation results of various kinds of skin characteristic values on many panelists are collected and the results are mutually compared, approximate property exists among a very small observation result, a macro observation result and an intermediate observation result. Therefore, when these observation results are treated as fractal, a fractal dimension to be inclination of the plotting is different according to each individual person and correlation is found in the size and a skin state. Namely, a property value of the skin has fractal property and is different according to each individual person, and a constant part showing this individual fractal property itself becomes a skin property index and can be used as a differentiation index. As a result, a clear differentiation of a skin state of a proper application possible range can be performed.
