PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectifying element of a new structure. SOLUTION: A metal-metal junction rectifying element is constituted by mescscopic-junctioning an electrode, consisting of a low-fusing temperature metal, such as lead or Ga1-xInx (0<=x<=1), with an electrode consisting of a metal which has a fusing temperature higher than that of the metal and does not case a diffusion into the other metals, such as W or Ni. |
