PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a display member may be lowered by oscillation at running or its own weight with respect to a monitor device which has the display member freely turnably supported on the ceiling part of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A storage recessed part 11 is formed in a storage member 10, and a display member 2 and a support body 5 are provided in this storage recessed part 11. A detaining member 12 which controls the front end 2a of the display member 2 is formed in the aperture edge part of the storage recessed part 11. At the time of storage, the display member 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow Y1 and its turning-down is controlled by the detaining member 12. At the time of opening, the display member 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow Y2, and the display member 2 is turned downward after disengagement between the display member 2 and the detaining member 12.
