PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control each communication band of a plurality of communication terminal devices so that the communication data amount of only some communication terminal devices may not increase, e.g. in a communication system in which a communication control device is connected to a plurality of communication terminal devices on the same transmission line. SOLUTION: When variable length frame data is transmitted to a communication line owned in common between other communication terminal devices 101 on receiving a transmission-enable signal from a communication control device 100 through a transmission line 3, a transmission byte number measuring means 8 decides the byte number of a frame able to be sent in one transmission opportunity as the byte number proportional to the value shown by an accumulated number measuring means 9 on the basis of the values of the frames measured by the means 9 and accumulated in a buffer 2, and the data amount transmitted by the device 101 is limited.
