PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an oxide multi-core superconductive wire rod wherein disarrangement of a superconductive structure and deterioration of a superconductive material can be inhibited. SOLUTION: A process to obtain a round member 4 by applying diameter- reduction work to a cross-sectionally round superconductive billet coated with the inner-coated metal 2 while retaining the cross-section as it is round, a process to assemble a multi-core billet 7 by inserting the plural number of those round members 4 into holes 6 of the outer-coated cross-sectionally round metal member 5 having the plural cross-sectionally round holes 6 with shafts in mutually parallel, and a process to apply the diameter-reduction work to this multi- core billet 7 are adopted.
