PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shampoo composition capable of exhibiting persistent and ultrahigh fungicidal effects and having excellent effects on prevention of dandruff and pruritus of the scalp, low irritation, high safety and good usability by regulating the kind and formulation ratio of a surfactant without containing a fungicide. SOLUTION: This shampoo composition is obtained by including (a) an anionic surfactant and (b) an alkylaminoacetic acid betaine surfactant in a specific formulation ratop in combination. Furthermore, the formulation ratio is preferably (1/9) to (2/1), more preferably (1/9) to (1/1) expressed in terms of weight ratio. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
