<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing fuel gas, capable of removing hydrogen sulfide and ammonia by almost their total amounts from gas phase without using a catalyst such as an adsorbent, etc., and also of producing the fuel gas efficiently by utilizing the temperature and pressure of the gas phase in a reaction mixture. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the fuel gas F is provided by performing a cooling process for cooling the reaction mixture R obtained by performing the reaction of an organic waste material A in a supercritical water or a subcritical water, a gas-liquid separating process for separating gas from liquid of the reaction mixture R performed with the cooling process, into a gas phase portion G containing hydrogen, methane, etc., and a liquid phase L containing hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, etc., in a gas-liquid separating vessel 4 and then an absorbing process of absorbing to remove carbon dioxide in the gas phase and hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, etc., remaining in the gas phase G with absorbing water W in an absorbing column 5 to produce the fuel gas F containing hydrogen and methane from the gas phase content G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
