<p>The invention relates to a telescopic boom for a mobile crane, the boom having a base boom section, at least one hydraulically actuated telescopic slide and at least one mechanically actuated telescopic slide. The extension and retraction of the mechanically actuated telescopic slide is effected with the help of a removable retaining bar, one end of the bar being adapted to be secured to the base boom section, while the free end of the bar includes a pressure part and a tension element, characterized in that along the length of the mechanically actuated telescopic slide there is defined a plurality of openings having edges running at right angles to the direction of movement, whereby when the boom slide is to be extended, the bar including the pressure part is adapted to cooperate with the openings, and when the slide is to be retracted, the bar is arranged such that the tension element cooperates with the openings.</p> |
