PURPOSE:To secure a detection of the toner residue by providing a magnetic toner residue detecting function device into the magnetic toner container such as the facsimile receiving device or the like, thus realizing a display of the shortage condition of the magnetic toner on the surface of the function device. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic toner container is installed inside the facsimile receiving device, and then the coil 15 having an adequate self-inductance and high Q is reeled around the coil guide 17. And both the initiation and end of the coil winding are connected to the impedance bridge 16. Under such conditions, the coil cover 18 is provided outside the guide 17 to be then inserted into the container 7. And if the micro current is flowed in such state, a measurement is possible for the equivalent inductance of the coil 15 which varies in proportion of the amount of the magnetic toner having a high magnetic conductivity and to be filled into the container. And thus the amount of the magnetic toner in the container can be detected. |
