PURPOSE:To form colored images on a conductive sheet by laminating a colored photoconductive hot-meltable layer, a conductive sheet, a transparent electrode layer, and a transparent substrate successively on a conductive substrate and applying direct current between a conductive substrate and an electrode layer while image-exposing the same from the electrode layer side. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 3 consisting of a low m.p. binder and a colored photoconductive material is provided on a conductive substrate formed with a conductive layer 2 on a substrate 1, whereby a photoreceptor 4 is made. A conductive sheet (a sheet made by impregnating quaternary ammonium salt in paper or the like) 5, and an electrode plate 8 made by providing a transparent electrode 7 on a transparent substrate 6 are superposed on the layer 3. While the transparent original 10 having an image part 9 and a nonimage part 9' on the material obtained in this way is being irradiated with light from the electrode plate 8 side, DC voltage is applied between the conductive layer 2 and the electrode layer 7 with the electrode layer 7 as positive electrode, and the hot-melted parts of the layer 3 are stuck on the sheet 5, whereby a colored negative image 3' is formed. In this way, the positive image of the original 10 is formed with high sensitivity without using any special optical system. |
