PURPOSE:To obtain a stirring rod having long life and high stirring effect, by uniformly reducing the cross area shape of a blade provided to the stirring rod made of platinum toward the direction parted from the pillar thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a stirring rod made of platinum or a platinum alloy having a spiral blade 4 attached to the pillar 1 thereof, the cross area shape of the blade 4 is uniformly made thin as parted from the pillar 1. By this structure, because the deformation resistance of the leading end of the glass, the hanging-down of the leading end is prevented and the life of the stirring rod is prolonged while the stirring effect thereof is increased. |
