PURPOSE:To increase the utilization rate of a Ca component, by feeding the Ca component to ammonium chloride in a preliminary mixing vessel and a finish mixing vessel in 2 steps. CONSTITUTION:NH4Cl and a Ca component such as milk of lime are fed to a preliminary mixing vessel 1 and mixed. The amount of the Ca component is less than the theoretical amount necessary for the reaction with NH4Cl. The mixture is sent to a cyclone 3 through a line 2 to remove sand, etc. contained in the Ca component from the system through a line 4, and the liq. is fed to a finish mixing vessel 6 through a line 5. Said Ca component is fed to the vessel 6 by an amount necessary for the reaction with the residual NH4Cl to prepare a liq. consisting of CaCl2 and an aqueous ammonia soln., and the liq. is sent to a cyclone 8 through a line 7. Solid matter separated from the cyclone 8 is returned to the vessel 1 through line 9, and the remaining liq. is sent to a distilling column 11, where NH3 and CaCl2 are separated from each other by distillation. |
