PURPOSE:To provide a combustion device which enables effective and complete combustion of waste pellet. CONSTITUTION:A combustion chamber 2 is formed by combining together an inner combustion chamber 2a and an outer combustion chamber 2b, it has a partition 4 therebetween, and the inner combustion chamber 2a and the outer combustion chamber 2b are formed annularly such that they are intercommunicated at the upper part. Thus, after a waste pellet P is ignited, the flow of a secondary air fed from the periphery of a fuel feed cylinder 6 promotes combustion of the waste pellet P on a combustion tray 5, and the flow of flame, flowing to the upper end of the inner combustion chamber 2a, collides with the upper wall surface of a body 1, and is turned over downward again, and flows downward within the outer combustion chamber 2b. As noted above, flame is burnt in the inner combustion chamber 2a and the outer combustion chamber 2b, and this collects the combustion energy within a combustion chamber or a proper chamber surrounding the combustion chamber, and the energy is used for feed of hot water or production of a dry air.
