An electrical plug contact part, which consists essentially of a stamped and bent sheet-metal part of a sheet-metal strip and has a separating plate (which is arranged between the plug contact region and the cable connecting region and is produced from sheet metal) and a method for producing the same are proposed, the separating plate, which is advantageously likewise formed from the sheet-metal strip, being provided (at least in its edge region) with one or more indentations, which are assigned to the entire edge region, in order to achieve a correct soldering density.
