Two identical optical systems with in each case a retroreflector and two light-conducting fibres which are optically coupled via the retroreflector are arranged in such a manner that the fibres, aligned in pairs, of the two systems are optically coupled directly in pairs when the retroreflectors are moved out of the ray path of the fibres, e.g. with the aid of an electromagnetic device (relay).
