PURPOSE:To obtain safety glass having excellent safety, radiation energy barrier and good see-through properties, by bonding two sheets of transparent plate glass through an intermediate resin film prepared by successively forming at least a transparent resin film, a semitransparent metallic thin film and a transparent resin film. CONSTITUTION:Two sheets 30 of transparent plate glass are bonded through a transparent intermediate resin film 10 to form safety glass of composite structure. The intermediate resin film 10 for the safety glass is constituted by successively forming a transparent resin film 11, a semitransparent metallic thin film 12 and a transparent resin film 13. A heat bonding film of polyvinyl butyral type or polyurethane type is used as the transparent resin films 11 and 13. A film obtained by metallizing Al, Cr, etc., in about 5-30nm thickness on a transparent resin film is preferable as the semitransparent metallic thin film 12. Blocking resistance can be improved without lowering see-through property by setting a releasable base material at least on one side of the intermediate resin film 10.
