PURPOSE:To allow a moving device to optionally move on the surface of a magnetic substance included in an apparatus to be inspected without newly laying a treveling track such as rails by providing the whole wheels constituted of magnet wheels with traveling mechanisms and steering mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:The moving device 1 is provided with four magnet wheels 21a-21d on both the end parts of body folding bases 13a, 13b and these traveling wheels are independently driven by travel driving motors 21a-21d. The wheels are supported so as to be independently steered by steering motors 31a-31d and the bases 13a, 13b are constituted so as to be folded from the body frames 11a-11d by body folding motors 81a-81d. Thus, the device 1 is magnetically sucked to a wall surface or the like while securing an optimum folding angle in accordance with the shape of a sucking traveling surface such as the wall surface of a magnetic piping and the surface of a passage and can be optionally traveled. |
