<p>A CRT display control system includes an access controller (38) for controlling a central processing unit (10) and a display controller (24) for a display device (16) to alternately access a refresh memory (20). The access controller (38) includes a clock synchronizer (42, 44) for recovering synchronization of both the clock (MCLK1) for the central processing unit (10) and the clock (MCLK2) for the display controller (24) automatically when a synchronizing error occurs between the clocks. When an error occurs, the clock synchronizer (42, 44) detects the error and inhibits the display controller (24) from accessing the refresh memory (20) but allows the central processing unit (10) to access the memory (20) during the time for recovering synchronization.</p> |
