<p>The invention relates to a sealing joint. This joint comprises a conventional joint (10) with a simple sealing lip (12), which can be mounted on the periphery of a carpentry frame by means of a foot (14) which can be inserted in a member for receiving the frame, such as a groove, and is characterised in that the said sealing lip (12) is a simple curved lip comprising an inversion (16) of the direction of curvature in the portions of the joint intended to be positioned substantially vertically (12V1, 12V2) in the vertical parts of the carpentry frame, the said joint thus comprising a vertical lip portion curved outwards (12V1A, 12V2A) and a vertical lip portion curved inwards (12V1B, 12V2B), the lip portion curved outwards (12V1A, 12V2A) being intended to be disposed above the lip portion which is curved inwards (12V1B, 12V2B).
