PURPOSE:To obtain the sound reproduction device in which a natural sound image localization is obtained with superior installation characteristics by employing an oblique cone speaker on a 1st center speaker arranged upward above a screen of a video display device. CONSTITUTION:An oblique cone speaker 21 is employed for a 1st center speaker 19 arranged upward above a screen of a video display device 14 and the speaker 21 is fitted to the device so that its longer side is directed forward. Furthermore, the sound radiates forward by fitting a diffuser to the 1st center speaker. As a result, the sound of the 1st center speaker 19 radiates forward. Since a sound pressure level is obtained more at a position of a listener, the position of a sound image from center speakers 19, 20 is coincident with a position of a picture of a picture display device 14 and a natural sound image localization is obtained. |
