Molding apparatus for forming frozen food product includes at least one container (12a) for freezing a food liquid; a cover and holder assembly (14a) for each container shaped to define a reservoir (18) which collects a portion of the food product; an elongated member (21) which defines a handle (22), an anchor (23) and a passageway (25) extending through the anchor and having one end (26) in communication with the reservoir (18) and an opposite end forming an access opening (27); and a removable or consumable sealing member (28) maintaining the passageway (25) normally closed until the access opening (27) is exposed during the consumption of the food product.
