FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes process for preparing polyamide foams by anionic polymerization of lactams. The claimed invention makes it possible to prepare polyamide foams having good characteristics using available and low toxic physical foaming agent such as white spirit in combination with diisocyanate excess under polymerization conditions that promote formation of COand evaporation of white spirit. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.
