PURPOSE: An optical information processing method and an apparatus thereof for increasing interleaving and ECC performance such as LDPC are provided to increase interleaving and ECC performance such as a synchronization method using a modulation code. CONSTITUTION: Optical information data performs encoding operation by using data according to the input of optical information data. A center pixel value of a unit block is converted in a modulation code. The center pixel value is equalized about image data detected by reproduction light. An equalizer(160) equalizes image data detected by reproduction light.
