PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IEEE1394 interface device capable of visually confirming the connection state of a device based on an IEEE1394 interface and quickly confirming the fault state of the device. SOLUTION: This IEEE1394 interface device transmits and receives data signals which are a pair of differential signals on which a prescribed bias voltage is superimposed and the strobe signals of a pair of the differential signals. A prescribed display of lighting or the like is performed at the display part of an LED or the like by the bias voltage supplied at the time of connecting the transfer line of the data signals on a terminal side where the transfer line of the data signals is connected.
