PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive, highly precise and quick quantitative analytical method of an infinitesimal silicone without requiring an expensive analyzer and complicated pretreatment. SOLUTION: This indirect quantitative analytical method of silicone in a sample by using a graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry method is characterized by adding beforehand a chemical modification agent including a platinum group compound into a graphite furnace.
