PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of reducing air discharge sound in a vacuum pump.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 10 includes: a camshaft 12 as a rotating shaft; a vacuum pump 21 having a rotor 22 and a housing 23, and having an oil passage 45 in an inside thereof; and a cam cap 14 and a bearing 13 as a rotation support body having an insertion hole 15 into which the camshaft 12 is inserted and rotatably supporting the camshaft 12. An oil support hole 49 opened to an outer peripheral surface, and an oil passage 43 having one end connected to the oil passage 45 and the other end connected to the oil supply hole 49 are provided in the camshaft 12, and an oil groove 50 is formed in a part of an inner peripheral surface of the insertion hole 15 of the rotation support body. The internal combustion engine 10 further includes a motor 53 which controls a phase of the camshaft 12 so that, when stopping the internal combustion engine 10, the oil groove 50 and the oil supply hole 49 are not confronted with each other in stopping of the internal combustion engine 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
