PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structure capable of keeping an annular intermediate plate at a neutral position at releasing a clutch, related to multiple clutches. SOLUTION: A first clutch disc 6 comprises a first frictional facing 6a opposed to a flywheel 2. A second clutch disc 7 comprises a second frictional facing 7a at a position corresponding to the first frictional facing 6a. A clutch cover assembly 9 comprises a clutch cover 11, a pressure plate 12, and a diaphragm spring 14. An annular intermediate plate 8 is disposed between the first frictional facing 6a and the second frictional facing 7a, to engage with the clutch cover 11 to be relatively irrotational. A leaf spring 34 is fixed to the annular intermediate plate 8 to abut on the flywheel 2 and the pressure plate 12. It keeps the annular intermediate plate 8 at an intermediate position in an axial direction when releasing a clutch connection. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
