The pump uses a ventilation unit (2) to supply outside air to a first exchanger in the form of an evaporator (1) where heat in the air is transferred to a working fluid which is then evaporated and supplied to a compressor (4) via a liquid separator (3). The compressed fluid is supplied to a second heat exchanger in the form of two condensers (5, 5') for heat transfer with water in a heating system and hot tap water system. The fluid is returned to the liquid separator for removing any remaining heat, after which the fluid is supplied to a buffer vessel (6) via a dryer (7) and expansion valve (8) for decompression and from this vessel the fluid can be returned to the evaporator for a fresh heat transfer cycle.
