<p>The invention relates to a pressure regulator, particularly for a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine, for regulating a liquid pressure. The pressure regulator contains a valve, which comprises a valve closing element that is pressed against a valve seat and into a closed position by the action of an angularly shaped valve leaf spring (16). One limb (22) of the valve leaf spring (16) is supported on the valve closing element, and the other limb (24) is supported on a supporting element (30) of a regulator housing (2). In the area of its bending, the valve leaf spring (16) is countered on a pin (26) mounted inside the regulator housing (2). The mounting of the pin (26) inside the regulator housing (2) is effected by bearing bore holes (34) in sidewalls (36) of the regulator housing (2), these sidewalls surrounding the valve leaf spring (16) at a parallel distance therefrom and extending essentially perpendicular to the pin (26). The invention provides that the sidewalls (36) are overlapped, at least in part, by brackets (40), which are connected to the supporting element (30) of the regulator housing (2) and which are provided with bearing bore holes (38) for the pin (26) that are coaxial to the bearing bore holes (34) in the lateral walls (36).</p> |
