PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method for easily and accurately determining chylomicron (CM) since the determination of CM is a piece of important information for grasping clinical conditions of patients suffering from abnormality of lipid metabolism. SOLUTION: The agitation of a sample has been required for accurate CM determination prior to sample analysis since CM has a density slightly smaller than water and floats when left as it is, but strong agitation have caused the problem of the alteration of lipoproteins. By collecting a sample to be measured and agitating the sample to be measured by suction and discharge with a needle or a nozzle in such a way as not to cause the alteration of lipoproteins prior to analysis to uniformly mix CM, it is possible to accurately separate and determine CM.
