(a) 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate of formula (I): (b) polyethylene glycol-400 dimethacrylate; and (c) 1,1,1-trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate of formula (III):wherein the hydrophilic microporous membrane is prepared by casting a polymer solution comprising the polymer blend onto a substrate before carrying out phase inversion of the polymer solution to provide the hydrophilic microporous membrane. |
