PURPOSE:To collect the titled substance, by cultivating a microgorganism, belonging to the genus Microbacterium, and having the tolerance to purine analogs, pyrimidine analogs, etc. in a culture medium containing manganese ions, iron ions, etc. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism, e.g. Microbacterium No.205-CTB-1 (FERM-P No.6013) or Microbacterium No.205-CTB-4 (FERM-P No.6014), belonging to the genus Microbacterium and having the tolerance to purine analogs, pyrimidine analogs, and methionine analogs, is cultivated. Purine analogs are 1-amino-adenosine, 8-azaguanine, etc., and pyrimidine analogs are 2-mercaptopyrimidine, etc. Methionine analogs are ethionine, etc. One or more of Mn ions in an amount of 0.02m/l or more expressed in terms of MnCl2.4H2O, ferrous ions in an amount of 10mg/l or more expressed in terms of FeCl2.7H2O and ferric ions in an amount of 10mg/l or more expressed in terms of FeCl3.7H2O are added to the culture medium. |
