<p>PURPOSE:To enable an operator to easily recognize nearness to a sheet strip terminal anywhere he is by performing marking in plural colors near the center of the strip terminal part. CONSTITUTION:A slab 5 of an alloy of lead and calcium reduces gradually its thickness through a rolling roller group 6 to become a broad sheet strip 7 while being rolled down to the fixed thickness. Said sheet strip 7 is divided with a rotary cutter 8 and rolled into the coiled shape to obtain the sheet strip 1 for final expanding processing. Thereby a marker 9, which is provided on the broad sheet strip 7 for performing marking in plural colors, is pressed to the position due to be the center of the divided sheet strip from a point of time, when the tip (due to be the terminal of the expanding processing) of the broad sheet strip 7 passes this place, so as to perform, for instance, red marking 4r. The marking 4 consists of three colors, indicating, for instance, green, yellow, red by 4g, 4y and 4r respectively while each color marking is performed as far as its fixed length.</p> |
