PURPOSE:To equalize pressure put on a transfer material by a simple method, by providing a control means for controlling a fact that a gap between a fixing roll and a pressure roll becomes large, when pressing the transfer material, on the roll end part. CONSTITUTION:A pair of upper and lower supporting bodies 23, 24 provided on the left and right, respectively, for supporting a fixing roll 21 and a pressure roll 22 are coupled so as to be freely openable and closably by an opening and closing shaft 25. A channel-shaped roll gap control member 32 pinches extend-out parts 23a, 24a of the supporting bodies 23, 24, a leg 32b of the control member 32 is stuck to the extend-out part 24a, a leg 32a is made to softly press-contact with the extend-out part 23a, and opening of the extend-out parts 23a, 24a is controlled so as to be below size of a gap (y) between the legs 32a, 32b. Accordingly, even when a transfer material whose width is different in size is pressed, the roll is not inclined so much, the transfer material can be pressed almost equally. |
