PURPOSE:To attain ease of control of an image data processor by referencing a management table so as to attain transmission control in image data transmission to an image data recorder. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1 selects connection opposite FAX5-7 by controlling an NCU3 and establishes a physical path between the selected opposite FAX and the image data processor 2. Then the data to be outputted to the FAX is transmitted to the processor 2. A management table 24-1 stores a head address in a memory 22-1 and a data byte number occupied by the line so as to constitute the system that the pair of the head address and byte number of each line are stored continuously. In using the management table like this, the output control of image data in response to the capability of the opposite device is attained and the image data processing with good efficiency is attained.
