Provided is an image processing device capable of obtaining a more stable result in edge enhancement process than a conventional image processing device. An edge correction unit (10) comprises filters (100a to 100c) having frequency characteristics different from each other, absolute value processing units (101a to 101c), a first addition unit (102), a first multiplication unit (103), a code acquiring unit (104), a second multiplication unit (105), and a second addition unit (106). The outputs (y1 to y3) of the filters (100a to 100c) are converted to absolute values by the respective absolute value processing units (101a to 101c) and then added by the first addition unit (102) to be output as an output (y4). In the first multiplication unit (103), the product of the output (y4) and a factor (k) is generated and output as an output (y5). In the code acquiring unit (104), the code of the output (y3) of the filter (100c) having the lowest frequency characteristic is output as an output (y6). In the second multiplication unit (105), the product of the output (y5) and the output (y6) is generated and output as a correction amount (y7).
